- Turn the keyboard on by sliding the power switch on the side of the keyboard to the right.
- On first connection, your keyboard automatically enters Bluetooth discovery mode and the status indicator will blink blue rapidly.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and select Ultrathin in the Devices list.
- Enter the six digit passkey shown on your iPad using the Ultrathin keyboard cover, and press Enter.
- Once the connection is made, the status indicator will turn solid blue. Your keyboard is ready to use.
Connect to a different iPad Air 2
If you’ve already connected the keyboard cover to an iPad and want to connect it to another one:
- Turn the keyboard on by sliding the power switch on the side of the keyboard to the right.
- Press the Bluetooth connection button on the keyboard cover.
- Select Ultrathin from the Devices menu.
- Enter the six-digit passkey shown on your iPad screen using the Ultrathin keyboard cover and press Enter.
- Once the connection is made, the status indicator will turn solid blue. Your keyboard is ready to use.
