Your G512 or G513 gaming keyboard features onboard memory that contains eight different lighting effects. You can use the onboard memory to activate lighting effects while playing on a computer that does not have Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) installed or while the software is closed. To return to the lighting settings you have previously configured in LGS, simply run the application once more.

See the full list of lighting effects stored on the device’s memory next to their shortcuts in the table below.

NOTE: 
Increasing or decreasing the speed of the effect affects all lighting effects stored on the device.

User Customized Lighting
You can use LGS 8.98 or later to store one Freestyle, Zones or Effects (select effects only) Lighting Mode layout on the keyboard’s memory. Here’s how:

1. Launch Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).
2. Select the G512 or G513 gaming keyboard.
3. Click the Lighting Settings icon.
4. Select either the Freestyle, Zones or Effects Lighting Mode.
   NOTES: 
   • Your Effects lighting mode layouts cannot be stored in the device’s memory.
   • Key Press and Star Effect layouts cannot be stored in the device’s memory.
5. Make changes to the keyboard image on-screen. 
6. Once the changes are final, click Save to device at the top of the LGS window.

   

7.
