As part of the Revue setup process, you will enter the brand and model number of your entertainment system devices, such as your TV, Set-top box (STB) and AV Receiver (AVR).
Brand- Usually displayed on the front of the device. Some examples are, Sony?, Phillips?, Denon?, Dish Network?, TiVo?, etc.
Model Number (MN)
- Sometimes displayed on the front of the device.
- Most often is displayed on the rear panel. Some examples are CT-36XF36C, Explorer 3100, L32 HDTV 10A, etc.
- Can also be found in the devices user manual.
- Not the model number on the remote control.
- Not the serial number (SN), it's usually much longer.
