You don't need a network to use the Logitech UE Air Speaker. For non-network devices, the Air Speaker has an Apple dock connector and auxiliary port for connecting.

Connecting to a network

If you do want to connect the Air Speaker to a network, there are two ways to do it:

1. AirPlay (wireless) — You can use the AirPlay feature from your Apple iOS device. You'll need a wireless network to do this.

2. iTunes (wired or wireless) — You can connect to the Air Speaker from your Mac or PC with iTunes, as long as they're on the same network.
