The buttons for volume and mute are on the outside of the right ear cup of your USB Headset H540.

Press the top of the volume button to turn the volume up, and press the bottom of the button to turn the volume down.

Press the mute button to mute the microphone. Press it again to disable mute.
NOTE: The LED indicator on the cable of your headset glows red when mute is enabled.
