Make sure that the consoles and your A50 X are connected using high-quality and HDMI-certified cables. Older, poor quality, or damaged cables (those that have been kinked or show signs of physical wear) may limit video performance and could result in an unstable video passthrough experience. We also recommend that you avoid connecting your A50 X with other HDMI intermediary devices, such as switches, repeaters, and splitters.
HDMI 2.1 is a new version of the standard and is capable of over 4 times the signal bandwidth than older versions such as HDMI 1.4. Therefore, it is critical that good quality cables with robust shielding are used when operating at such high bandwidths. Sometimes, this can even apply to older non-HDMI 2.1 devices/cables. So when in doubt, please obtain cables that've been certified by the HDMI forum’s Ultra High-Speed HDMI® Cable Certification Program.
