- Make sure that the mouse is connected to your computer using the supplied USB cable or wireless USB receiver.
- Launch LGS, and select the G403 or G703 wireless gaming mouse.
- Click on the Battery Assistant icon.
The Battery Assistant has two information panels: Lighting Presets
The Lighting Presets panel lets you see how different lighting settings affect the power consumption and remaining battery life of your gaming mouse. The Lighting and Max Charge values will update in the Power Consumption panel every time you click on one of the settings in the Lighting Presets panel.
Click on one of the following four presets:
- Color Cycle — shows the remaining battery life and power consumption on the mouse with all LED lighting set to Color Cycle.
- Cyan Breathing — shows the remaining battery life and power consumption on the mouse with all LED lighting set to cyan color and with Breathing Effect activated.

Lights Off — shows the remaining battery life and power consumption on the mouse with all LEDs disabled.
NOTE: Disabling the LEDs on the mouse will provide the best battery performance. -
My Setting — shows the remaining battery life and power consumption on the mouse with the current customized lighting settings in LGS.

The Power Consumption panel shows the exact milliamp usage (on-board system, report rate, and lighting), as well as the total battery life under max charge with current settings.
