You can use your BRIO/BRIO 4K webcam with Windows Hello. When you connect BRIO 4K to any USB port on a computer running Windows 10 that has internet access, Microsoft Windows Update will install the necessary driver and service.
Note: The driver and service can only be obtained from Windows Update and cannot be downloaded as a separate file.
Once the update is complete, go to Windows Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and select BRIO for Windows Hello.
Enhanced Sign-In Security
If you have Enhanced Sign-In Security enabled, you will need to disable VBS to use BRIO for Windows Hello. (For more information, see Microsoft article Virtualization-based Security VBS.)
To turn off VBS:
- Navigate to Settings > Windows Update > Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation and under Memory Integrity, slide the toggle to Off.
Windows update
After installing KB5055523 (OS build 26100.3775) or later updates in your computer, it is important to leave the privacy shutter open, while using Windows Hello feature. Refer to the Microsoft article here. For enhanced security, Windows Hello facial recognition requires color cameras to see a visible face when signing in.
