A yellow light on the front of your Receiver indicates the Receiver is attempting to connect to your network. The light should cycle through the following color progression:

Slowly flashing red (awaiting setup).

Yellow (trying to connect to network).
-
Green (acquiring IP address from network).
-
Blue (waiting to connect to music source).
-
White (setup is complete; ready to play music).
If the light does not change from yellow, please check the following:
Connecting via Wireless:

Move your Squeezebox Receiver and Controller closer to the wireless router.

Check your router settings. For additional information, please see Knowledge Base article 360023211474.

If MAC filtering is enabled on the wireless router, both the Controller and the Receiver’s MAC addresses should be added to the wireless router’s list of allowed addresses.
NOTE: The Squeezebox Receiver’s MAC address can be found on the bottom of the unit. The Controller’s MAC address is in the battery compartment.
Connecting via Ethernet:

Try a different Ethernet cable.

Try a different port on your router and try connecting your Receiver directly to your router if it is not.

Make sure your router has the latest software.

Don’t use multiple routers.
