This example uses the information from the following sample device map worksheet. Please fill out your own device worksheet (see answer 360023217834) to configure your devices for an activity to watch TV on a system with a mini system or sound bar.

Creating the Watch TV activity for systems with a mini system or sound bar:

1. Launch the Harmony Remote Software and log in to your account.

   NOTE: Be sure all devices needed for this activity have been added to your account.

2. Click the Activities tab.

3. Click Add Activity.

4. Select No - manually add an Activity to my setup and then click Next.

5. Select Watch Television and then click Next.

6. Select Watch TV (Digital cable, Basic cable, Antenna) and then click Next.

7. On the Select the Activities you would like to set up screen, click Next.

8. For this example, select the following and then click Next at the bottom of each screen:

   1. To Watch TV, which device do you use to change channels? Select "I use my Scientific Atlanta PVR to change channels".

   2. To Watch TV, which device do you use to control the volume? Select "I use my Samsung Mini System (DVD, CD, Radio) to control the volume".

   3. What input or channel does your Sony TV need to be on? Select "Video 8".

      NOTE: If you don't see the input listed, check the back of your device to verify the input name.

   4. What input or channel does your Samsung Mini System (DVD, CD, Radio) need to be on? Select "DigitalIn".

      NOTE: If you don't see the input listed, check the back of your device to verify the input name.

9. For Review the settings for this Activity, select "Yes, these settings are correct", and then click Next.

10. Click Done on the summary page to complete the activity setup.

11. Connect your Harmony remote to your computer and then click Update Remote.

The Watch TV activity is now available on your Harmony remote.
