You can check the remaining battery life of your case+energy by pressing the button on the back of the battery once. It will show 1-4 LEDs depending on how much life it has left. Four LEDs indicates a full charge, while one means about 25% remaining.
Keep in mind that your case+energy is designed to deplete the case+energy before it begins to deplete your iPhone battery.
