If your TV never goes to the correct channel when you select a favorite channel from the Harmony Remote (i.e. you select channel 234 and the TV goes to channel 23 instead) you will need to decrease the Inter-key and Inter-Device Delays.
To decrease the Inter-key and Inter-Device Delay:
- Launch the Logitech Harmony Remote Software and login to your account
- Click on the Device tab
- Next to the device that changes channels (i.e. TV, Cable box, Satellite), click on the Settings button
- Select Adjust the delays (speed settings) and then click on the Next button
- Next to Inter-Key delay, enter a value of 0 milliseconds
- Next to Inter-Device delay, enter a value of 0 milliseconds
- The Logitech Harmony Remote Software will then guide you through ensuring the Activities are setup correctly. Click on the Next button and follow the on-screen steps
- The last step is to update your remote for the changes you have made to be applied to your Harmony remote. Connect the Harmony remote to your computer's USB cable and click on the Update Remote button
Try out your Harmony Remote by selecting the Watch TV activity and selecting a favorite channel.
