The G27 performs a self-check with the force feedback motors at each startup. If the wheel fails to spin when plugged into a powered on computer or game console, please do the following:
-
Plug the G27 AC power adapter into a functioning wall socket.
-
Plug your AC power adapter firmly and directly into the bottom of the wheel.
-
Make sure your game and your platform support USB racing wheel. If the game does not support USB wheels, the G27 may not self-calibrate at startup. Consult your game or platform documentation to determine if the G27 is supported.
-
Plug your G27 into a different USB port on your computer or console.
NOTE:This is especially important on consoles.
-
Restart your console or computer with the G27 plugged in.
Playstation 3 only:
-
Log into the Playstation Network (PSN) and update your Playstation firmware. The system should automatically restart after updating the firmware.
-
Start your game while connected to the PSN and download any game updates.
