The G27 calibrates the G27 hardware every time the wheel is connected to a PC and powered on. Sometimes Windows will build an incorrect calibration profile internally, and this can cause issues where the wheel may be centered, but the angle of driving is off in game.
If your G27 has problems calibrating accurately in the Windows Game Controllers control panel, do the following:
-
First, update your software to the latest version. G27 software is available on the G27 Downloads page.
-
Unplug both the USB cable and the A/C power adapter from both the unit and wall socket.
-
Wait thirty seconds and plug the A/C power adapter back into the unit and wall socket.
-
Plug the USB cable back into a different USB port on your computer. This will cause Windows to build a new calibration profile for your G27.
