The C920 allows you to make Full HD 1080p video calls with the latest version of Skype.
In order to achieve 1080p, please download the latest beta version of Skype for Windows, version 5.7 or higher, from www.skype.com
For 720p video calling we recommend at least a 1Mbps upload and download internet connection, and a 2 Mbps connection for 1080p video calling. We recommend a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or higher with 2 GB of RAM. (For specific requirements please check your preferred video calling client's homepage, as requirements can vary.)
It's just plain easier using Logitech webcam software and your webcam. Easier to get to whatever video-calling software you're using. Easier to find extras like one-click HD-video uploading to Facebook™. And we've improved the webcam controller, so you can get the video just right.
Finally, we're always looking for ways to make software setup faster. With the Smart Installer, you have control over what you want to download - download all the bells and whistles, or only download what you want. The choice is yours.
Tip: If you're having installation difficulties with the Smart Installer package, try downloading the Full Installer package. (This usually does the trick.)
