If your keyboard does not work, or the LED does not light up when you connect your Rugged Lite to the iPad for the first time, try the following steps:
- Make sure you remove the pull tag from the battery tray at the top edge of the keyboard.
- The keyboard turns on automatically when you place the iPad in the typing position. Make sure you have the right iPad placed to turn on the keyboard.
- If the keyboard doesn’t enter pairing mode (LED fast blinking in White), long press the Bluetooth button for two seconds until the LED blinks rapidly.
- If the LED doesn’t light up at all, use a paperclip or screwdriver to pry open the battery holder from the top of the keyboard, then use compressed air or blow into the battery compartment.
