What is Logi Plugin Service (LPS)?
The Logi Plugin Service is a background process that connects plugins and Marketplace features, ensuring compatibility across Options+ and Loupedeck applications.
Which features and devices in Options+ need Logi Plugin Service?
As of August 2025, Logi Plugin Service is needed to use Actions Ring and MX Creative Console.
How does Logi Plugin Service activate?
Logi Plugin Service (LPS) starts automatically when a plugin is installed, a supported device is connected, or a user enables a feature that depends on it.
What happens if I disable Logi Plugin Service running in the background?
Disabling LPS will turn off background LPS service which may cause some features or connected devices to no longer work. You can re-enable it anytime in Options+ application settings.
If the Actions Ring or devices are not loading, it may be because LPS is turned off in the background. Please toggle it back on in the Options+ application settings.
Where can I control Logi Plugin Service?
You can manage LPS settings directly in Options+ under Settings.
I’m having functionality issues, for example, Creative Dialpad not working. What should I do?
Restarting the Logi Plugin Service often resolves functionality or intermittent issues. You can restart it in the application settings of Options+.
After restarting, wait for a moment to allow the LPS to fully start, then check if the issue persists.
