If your gaming mouse is behaving erratically or the mouse cursor on your screen doesn't move as expected, try the following:
-
Make sure your gaming receiver is connected directly to a USB port on your computer. Avoid using hubs.
-
Use the receiver extension cable to bring the gaming receiver closer to the mouse (see answer 360023258814).
-
Try a different mouse pad.
-
Avoid using your mouse on:
-
Glass or other see-through surfaces
-
Reflective surfaces such as a mirror or metal desk
-
Wood grains and grooved surfaces
-
Very high-gloss finished surfaces
-
Additional information
If the above steps don't solve erratic cursor movement, the problem may be caused by software. For example, if the cursor speed is set too fast, the cursor can move so quickly that it will appear erratic. You can fix this by adjusting the gaming mouse settings in Logitech Gaming Software (see answer 360023258814).
