If the set-top box you are adding is not found in our database, it may be because you selected the wrong brand or entered the wrong model number.
Before proceeding, make sure you have selected the correct brand and entered the correct model number.
If you are sure that you have specified the correct brand and model number are correct, you can use the set-top box’s original remote to “teach” its IR commands so you can add the unrecognized device.
Note:Teaching is not available if your Google TV device is manufactured by Sony.
To use your device’s original remote to teach its commands:
- When asked whether you have the device’s original remote, click Yes if you have it. If you don’t have the original remote, click No and Harmony Link Control Center will search for a set-top box similar to yours.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to send IR codes from your original remote. Make sure you point the original remote at your Google TV device and press buttons on the remote as instructed. You should be between 5 and 10 feet away with a clear line of site between you and your Google TV device. Your remote will send IR codes to the Google TV device, and Harmony Link Control Center will configure it to work with your set-top box.
- Answer any additional on-screen questions about your set-top box.
A confirmation message will appear once your set-top box has been added.
