Sometimes, Logitech Media Server may not install properly. Here's how to successfully uninstall and reinstall it.
IMPORTANT: This process requires an advanced knowledge of Windows Home Server.
Before you uninstall

Find the IP address of the Windows Home Server (WHS) computer.

Install Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) on the computer accessing Windows Home Server.
NOTE: If you need help with obtaining these requirements, please contact your computer or network equipment manufacturer.
Uninstall via RDC
To start the Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) in Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 7:

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection. If it's not there:
- Go to Start > Run.
- Type "mstsc" and then click OK.

Enter the IP address of the WHS machine.

Enter the Username: "Administrator".

Enter the same password as the one used in the Windows Home Server Console.
Once you've logged into the WHS computer via RDC:

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

There may be two entries for Logitech Media Server. Uninstall the one with the larger file size (ex. 71.69 MB).

Delete the Logitech Media Server Folders from the following locations (which may or may not exist):
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
- C:\Program Files

Reboot the Windows Home Server machine.
