There are three LED status indicators located on the left side of the G700s.
The LED indicator lights and colors let you know the status of:
Battery charge level
To check the battery charge level, press the Battery Level button on your gaming mouse (by default, G8) and then check the LED status indicators.
-
A full charge is indicated by three solid green LEDs.
-
If only one blinking red LED is visible, then your gaming mouse battery needs to be re-charged.
NOTE: While the battery is charging, you'll see cascading blinking green LEDs on the left side of the mouse. The charge is complete when all three green LEDs are solidly lit. For more information on battery life of the G700s gaming mouse and how to charge it, see answer 360023399193.
On-board memory profiles
To toggle between on-board memory profiles on your gaming mouse, press the Switch Profile button (G11 by default) and then check the LED status indicators. The currently active profile is indicated by the number and position of the solid orange LEDs. You can assign the profile position indicators for up to five profiles using Logitech Gaming Software.
NOTE: You can disable on-board profiles in Logitech Gaming Software by clearing the check box next to the listed profile name. The software will automatically reassign the sequence of the remaining active profiles to avoid confusion when you use the Switch Profile button to cycle through on-board profiles.
DPI sensitivity levels
To toggle between DPI sensitivity levels on your gaming mouse, press the DPI Up button (by default, G10) or the DPI Down button (by default, G9) and then check the LED status indicators. The currently active DPI setting is indicated by the number and position of the solid red LEDs. The position change of the LEDs is identical to toggling between on-board profiles (see On-board memory profiles). You can set up to five DPI levels.
NOTE: The lowest DPI level is position #1 on the row of LED indicators (the top LED). The highest DPI level is position #5 (the bottom LED).
NOTE: DPI Up, DPI Down, and DPI Cycling functions are available for button assignments on the G700s in both On-Board Memory and Automatic Game Detection modes. However, the DPI Shift function is only available in Automatic Game Detection mode. For information on configuring buttons on the G700s see answer 360023399193.
