You can enable and disable the illumination on your G402 gaming mouse. Here's how:
Open the Logitech Gaming Software:
Start > All Programs >Logitech >Logitech Gaming Software 8.55
Click the Lighting Settings light-bulb icon.
In the Lighting Settings window, you can:
Turn the "G" logo and DPI lighting on and off.
Select the Lighting Sleep Timer box and specify the number of minutes of inactivity after which your mouse's lighting will automatically turn off.
Important Notice: Logitech Presentation devices are now supported by Logi Options+ for a better experience. We highly recommend using Logi Options+ with your presentation remotes. We are here to assist you during this transition.
