The VX Nano can switch between hyper-fast (free spin) and ratchet modes.
Pressing the middle button on the VX Nano toggles between hyper-fast mode and ratchet mode (as shown below). Software is not required to switch between modes, however the Logitech Mouse and Keyboard software (SetPoint) can over-ride the scroll wheel speed.
If hyper-fast mode is not working, you may need to change SetPoint settings for the scroll wheel back to its default settings. To change your setttings in SetPoint, do the following:
-
Open SetPoint (Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settings).
-
Select the My Mouse tab at the top of the window and click the Wheel Settings tab on the left (as shown below).
-
Click on the Restore Defaults button.
NOTE: This option will set the scroll wheel speed settings to default settings and clear all previous settings.
-
Click Apply to save your settings. Click OK to exit SetPoint.
