Activate lighting
To activate lighting, press the Backlight button on the upper right corner of your G610 keyboard.

Customize Lighting settings in LGS You can use Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) to change the lighting on your keyboard.
NOTE: If you don’t have Logitech Gaming Software, you can get it from the G610 Download page.
- Open LGS.
- Click the Lighting Settings icon. You can select from several lighting mode effects and configure lighting for different game profiles.
Lighting Modes
- Freestyle: Set the brightness level of each key individually
- Zones: Group keys together into zones based on brightness level

Effects: Activate one of six different custom lighting effects:
- Fixed Brightness — Use the brightness level selection wheel to choose a brightness level or create your own custom setting.
- Breathing — Select this option to activate a pulsating effect that simulates breathing. You can also configure the breathing effect rate. Click and drag the slider to the right to increase the rate of the breathing effect. Drag the slider to the left to decrease the rate.
- Star Effect — Select brightness level for the star effect and optionally set a different background "sky" brightness level.
- Light Cycle — You can set the speed for how quickly the brightness levels cycle on the keyboard.
- Light Wave — When you select this option, you can also set the key brightness levels to change horizontally, vertically, or from the center out. User the slider to set the speed at which the brightness levels cycle.
- Key Press — The keys change brightness levels when you press them. Use the brightness level selection wheel to choose a preset level or customize your own. You can also set a brightness level for the entire keyboard. Use the slider to set the rate at which the brightness level fades back to the background.
Per Profile Backlighting
The lighting customization options universally affect the G610 gaming keyboard by default. However, you can also configure lighting settings to be set on per game profile basis.
To enable per profile backlighting:
- Click on the double left arrows at the top-right corner of the LGS window.
- Check the box to Enable per profile backlighting. A list of active LGS game profiles will appear below the checkbox. NOTE: By default, the Default Profile is selected.
- Select the game from the list to begin configuring lighting settings for that game profile. Click Scan for New Games to begin searching your computer for recently installed games that may have associated game profiles in LGS.
