The ConferenceCam Connect uses Miracast wireless technology to mirror display output from a compatible mobile device to a TV. Miracast is incorporated into the latest version of Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) software, which is built into Windows 8.1. Miracast screen mirroring with ConferenceCam connect may therefore be possible with select PCs.
Qualifying PCs must be running Windows 8.1 (or later) and meet Intel’s specific system requirements (including processor, graphics processor and wireless adapter combinations) for Intel WiDi. Please consult Intel’s support site resources for more information on those system requirements.
For information on Miracast with Windows 8.1 or later, please consult Microsoft’s support site resources.
NOTE: Due to the wide variety of PC configurations in the market, wireless screen mirroring with ConferenceCam Connect is only officially supported on mobile devices running Android 4.2 (or later) or Windows 8.1.
