If you see an overheating message on your Z-5500 control pod, this means you have been playing your Z-5500 speakers for too long and at too high a volume. Once this message appears, the speakers will automatically shut down for one hour, during which time you will not be able to use them. Once the speakers have cooled off, you will be able to use them again.
