Your mouse has an LED on the top that indicates battery status. When you turn the mouse on, the LED lights up for about 10 seconds. It then turns off to save energy.
Power and battery
Green, solid — battery level is good
Red, blinking — battery is low
Red, solid — you should replace the battery
