The following steps will walk you assigning a shortcut to a G Key on the G15/G11 Gaming Keyboard. You can use a shortcut to launch a program, website, or folder on you computer.
- Launch the G-Series Keyboard Profiler
- In the Profile Window, select the profile you wish to modify from the Current Profile drop down menu.
- Under Mode, select M1, M2, or M3. Each one of these selections will allow you to program different shortcuts to the G Keys for each memory mode. To move between the memory modes when playing simply press the corresponding M button on the keyboard
- In the Profile window, click the desired G Key. This will bring up a menu.
Select Assign Shortcut. This will bring up the Edit Shortcut dialog box. - In the name field type the name for your application, folder, or website
- In the second field type the complete website address (i.e. http://www.logitech.com) or click the "..." button to browse to the application or folder you wish to assign. If you are not sure which file launches the application, please contact the application vendor
- Click OK
The Shortcut should now be assigned to the selected G Key
