Even if you've configured your Harmony activities correctly, there can be times when a device:
-
Automatically turns back off after you turn it on
-
Turns back on after you turn it off
-
Selects an incorrect input
This can be caused by your device's HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) feature. HDMI-CEC is a feature that lets CEC-enabled devices communicate with each other. For example, with some CEC-enabled systems, when you turn on your TV, it signals your cable box and AV receiver to turn on too. This feature can interfere with your Harmony remote activities.
We suggest you disable this feature on all of your devices if you're using a Harmony activity-based remote. (See the user manuals for each of your devices for information on how to turn off this feature.)
