Under the appropriate Windows option, select which version of Logitech Webcam Software (LWS) you are using:

• Windows XP

  • LWS 1.x or 2.x

• Windows Vista or Windows 7

  • LWS 1.x

  • LWS 2.x

Windows XP

• LWS 1.x or 2.x

  1. Click on Start and then select Run.

  2. Type msconfig and then press Enter.

     

  3. Click on the Startup tab.

     

  4. Uncheck the box next to "LWS" by clicking in it.

     

  5. Click Apply and then click OK.

  6. Click Restart on the System Configuration screen.

     

     After your computer restarts, you'll see the System Configuration Utility window.

     

  7. Select the check box next to this message: "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts".

     

  8. Click OK.

Windows Vista or Windows 7

• LWS 1.x

  1. Click on Start.

  2. Type msconfig and then press Enter.

     

  3. Click the Startup tab.

  4. Uncheck the box next to "LogitechQuickCamRibbon" by clicking in it.

     

  5. Click Apply and then click OK.

  6. Click Restart on the System Configuration screen.

     

     After your computer restarts, you will see the System Configuration Utility window.

  1. Click on Start.
