The Logitech Harmony Remote software tries to offer all of the commands for your original remotes. However, power and input commands appear under a different name than what is on your device's remote.
For example: When adjusting Power Settings, the software will ask "Which command turns your device on and off?" On the original remote the button might say "Power" or "On", but in the drop down commands list in the software you can't find it. Power Commands:
PowerToggle is used for the following buttons:
- Buttons with the symbol
- On/Off
- Power
- System Power
- Any button that powers on and off a device when pressed
- Off
- Standby
- System Off
- Any button that powers off a device, but does not power it on as well
- On
- Power
- System On
- Any button that powers on a device, but does not power it off as well
Input Commands:
InputNext is used for the following buttons:
- Any button that switches your device through a list of inputs. Every time it is pressed it changes to a different input
- TvVideo
- Input
- Source
- Any button that switches inputs, either directly or that switches through a list or between two different inputs
