Software doesn't recognize the model number you entered

Model number isn't entered correctly

Model number isn't in the database

If you're prompted for your original remote, you have the following options:

Yes — I have a remote for this device
Selecting this prompts you to confirm commands from the original remote and answer questions about how your device operates.
OR
Yes — I have a remote for this device
If you select YES:

Use your original remote to teach commands to your Harmony remote.

Once the commands are confirmed, you might be prompted to add more commands.
NOTE: This usually only happens when the device is too new to be found in the database.

After confirming the commands, the software uses the information to find a similar device in the database.

You might be asked additional questions about inputs and channel-changing methods to confirm how this device operates.

Click Modify to return to the step asking you for the original remote, and then click either:

Remove to re-enter the model number information.
OR
-
Done to add the device to your account.

After the device is added to your account, you can still add missing commands (see answer 360023412873).
No — I do not have a remote for this device
If you select NO:

The software automatically enters search mode to find a similar device in the database.

Click Modify to return to the step asking you for the original remote, and then click either:

Remove to re-enter the model number information.
OR

Done to add the matched device to your account.
