Customizing standard buttons in activities

1. Launch the Harmony Remote Software and log in to your account.

2. Click the Customize Buttons icon for the activity you want to customize, and then select the button from the list.

3. Select the device you want to control from the Device column.

4. Select the command you want to send from the drop-down list in the Command column.

5. Click Done to save the customization.

6. Connect your Harmony remote to your computer and then click Update Remote.

NOTE: Button customization is specific to the activity you're modifying. You'll need to repeat it for any other activities that you want to have the same customization.

Customizing standard buttons for devices

1. Launch the Harmony Remote Software and log in to your account.

2. Click the Devices tab.

3. Click the Settings button next to the device you want to customize.

4. Select Customize Buttons, and then click Next on the Device Options page.

5. Choose the command you want to assign to a button from the drop-down list next to the button you want to customize.

6. Repeat Step 5 to customize additional buttons.

7. Click Done to save your customizations.

8. Connect your Harmony remote to your computer and then click Update Remote.

If you aren't able to find a command you want to program to your standard button, it's most likely a "missing" command. To use that command, you must first add it (see answer 360023250434), and then repeat the instructions above.
