The remote that comes with the Harmony Smart Control works with RF/wireless technology. It isn't able to send IR to your home entertainment devices.
The remote is designed to work with the Harmony Hub. If the hub isn't connected to a power source or set up to use Wi-Fi, the remote won't work.
If the remote isn't paired with the hub, you'll need to pair it. Here's how:
Connect the hub to power or your computer.
Press the Pair/Reset button on the back of the hub.
NOTE: The LED will blink red.
Press the Menu and Mute buttons on the remote at the same time.
When pairing is successful, the LED on the hub will blink green for 2 seconds and then turn solid green.
Important Notice: Logitech Presentation devices are now supported by Logi Options+ for a better experience. We highly recommend using Logi Options+ with your presentation remotes. We are here to assist you during this transition.
