After you've set up your Harmony Smart Control, you can add or delete devices or activities right in your Harmony app.
Add a device or activity
To add a device or activity with the Harmony app:

Launch the Harmony app.

Tap Menu.

Tap Settings.

Tap Edit devices and activities.

Tap Devices.
-
Tap Add Device.

Start typing the device manufacturer name in the Manufacturer text field, and then select the correct name from the drop-down menu that appears.

Enter the device model number in the Model Number text field.

Tap Power on when prompted for the power-on test (make sure the device is turned off first), and tap Yes when the device powers on.
NOTE: If the device doesn't power on, tap No and use the troubleshooting wizard to verify device settings.
After you add your device, you need to add an activity to use the device. Here's how:

Tap Create Activity.

Tap Add Activity.

Select the type of activity you want to create with the new device.
NOTE: Depending on the device, different options for activities could be presented.

Select the devices needed for the activity and then tap Next.

Tap Power on when prompted for the power-on test (make sure the device is turned off first), and tap Yes when the device powers on.

Tap My devices are on.

Select the inputs for use in this activity, and then tap Next.

Tap Yes to verify that the activity is working.
NOTE: If you tap No, the troubleshooting wizard will help you verify device settings.

Tap Next.
NOTE: To edit the activity name, tap Edit, enter the new name, and then tap Done.

Tap Test Activity.

Tap Yes, the activity turned on correctly, if successful.
NOTE: Tap No if the activity didn't turn on correctly to enter the troubleshooting wizard.
NOTE: You will need to manually customize the new activity on your companion remote by going to the MyHarmony Settings page and selecting Remote > Customize or by going to myharmony.com and then selecting Buttons > Assign Activities to buttons.
Delete a device or activity

Launch the Harmony app.

Tap Menu.

Tap Settings.

Tap Edit devices and activities.

Tap Devices or Activities.
-
Select the device or activity you want to delete.

Tap Delete, and on the confirmation screen, tap Delete again.
Your device or activity has now been deleted.
