If your remote was previously working, but has since stopped working:
1. Ensure that you are using new or fully charged batteries and they are installed correctly.
2. Select the symptom in the following that best describes what is happening:

The LCD screen is blank |

Plug the USB cable into your remote and connect it to your computer. If the remote turns on, you should replace or charge your batteries (depending upon the model Harmony remote you own). If the LCD does not turn on while connecting the remote to the computer (while the computer is powered on), contact customer service for assistance with this type of issue. |
The status light at the top of the remote does not go on when I press buttons. |

Ensure you have selected an activity, and the button you are pressing is used by the activity. Check your remote account and remember to update your remote for any changes to be transferred to your remote. If you devices respond to button presses but the status light does not turn on, then the status light is damaged. |
