The F540 Wireless Headset uses a standard frequency (2.4GHz) for its wireless audio. Other devices also emit signals on this frequency and may interfere with the F540. Also, certain materials used in the construction of home AV cabinets may absorb the wireless signal. In both cases, the audio of the F540 may become garbled or drop out.
To resolve this:
-
Make sure your F540 headset is fully charged
-
Make sure you're within the recommended 30'/10m range
-
Place the F540 base station further away from other electronic devices
-
Don't put the F540 directly on top of consoles that use wireless controllers
-
Move the F540 to the other side of your AV system or TV
NOTE: Certain TVs or AV systems may send radio interference in a specific direction.
-
Place the F540 on top of your entertainment center, especially if it is made out of metal, which can absorb radio signals
