If your Harmony remote sends commands too slowly (ex. volume takes too long to go up or down, or channels don't change correctly) you can adjust the inter-key delay. This is the amount of time your Harmony remote pauses between sending commands. It can be set from 0 to 1000ms.
For example, when changing channels, if the inter-key delay is set to half a second (500 ms) for your cable box and you press the number "8" key twice quickly, the remote will send the first "8" command, pause for 500ms, and then send the second "8" command. If the cable box doesn't receive the second command fast enough, the channel will change to "8" instead of "88".
