The standard buttons on your Harmony Touch remote can be programmed to perform both short- and long-press actions. For example, when you perform a short press on the Fast Forward button in a Watch DVD activity, it will fast forward your movie. If you perform a long press on that button, it will skip forward to the next chapter. The same button performs two different commands, depending on how long you press it.

Short press — Press and release the button.

Long press — Press and hold for one-half second and then release the button.
