- Attach the mic & stereo Y-splitter cable to the headset 3.5mm cable.
- Connect the G231 headset to your PC using the 3.5mm microphone and headphone plugs.
- The 3.5mm inline controls can be used to adjust the volume level and mute the microphone.
Playstation® 4
The G231 gaming headset can be connected to your Playstation® 4 using the 3.5 mm audio cable.
NOTE: The G231 must be properly designated as the default audio input and output device in the Playstation® 4 Settings menu (see Playstation® 4 Settings below for details).
- Connect the G231 gaming headset to the Playstation® 4 controller using the included 3.5mm cable.
- The 3.5mm inline controls can be used to adjust the volume level and mute the microphone.
Playstation® 4 Setup (Settings)
- Make sure the G231 headset is connected to your Playstation® 4 controller, and then navigate to the Settings menu in the Playstation® 4 interface.
- Open Settings.
- Select Devices.
- Select Audio Devices.
- Set Output to Headphones to All Audio.
Xbox One™
The G231 gaming headset can be connected to your Xbox One™ console using the included the 3.5mm audio cable.
- Connect the G231 gaming headset to the Xbox One™ controller using the included 3.5mm cable.
NOTE: Older Xbox One™ controllers may not support direct 3.5mm cable connections and may require the Xbox One™ Stereo Headset Adapter (sold separately). - 3.5mm inline controls can be used to adjust the volume level and mute the microphone.
