Your Cordless Desktop Wave mouse has a standby mode to conserve power when not in use but you can also turn off your mouse if it will not be used for long periods of time.
To turn off your mouse:

Press and hold the black button for a few seconds.
- The green power indicator on the bottom of the mouse will go off.
Your mouse is now off.
To turn your mouse back on:

Press and hold the black button for a few seconds,
- The green power indicator will come on.
Your mouse is now turned on.
