Some home entertainment devices need to warm up when first powered on before they will respond to a remote control. (For example, the TV volume won't go up right after you turn the TV on, but it does when you try again 10 seconds later).
If your devices aren't powering up properly, you can adjust the warm-up time (Power On Delay) to include a longer wait time after each device is powered on. A device can have a warm-up time ranging from 0 to 60 seconds.
