With your Bemo Social Camera, you can record video clips and take time lapse videos. You can then take the raw content, edit it, add effects, and share the movies you've created. The sections that follow explain how to use your Bemo Social Camera.
Record on your camera
By default, the capture button on your Bemo enables you to:

Record video — Here's how:
- Press and hold the capture button.
- Release the button once you're done recording.
If the Bemo camera is connected to your iOS device, the video clip will automatically be added to Clips in the Bemo app. If not, the Bemo camera will store the clip until the next time you connect to the app.
Record and take time lapse videos in the Bemo app
With your Bemo connected to the Bemo app, you can record and take time-lapse videos from within the app remotely. Here's how:

Tap the Bemo icon at the top left of the app to bring up the Camera menu.

Tap Camera to access remote recording and time-lapse video mode.

Next, you can either:

Record remotely — In video mode, you'll see the video-camera icon.
- Tap once to start recording video.
NOTE: Unlike the Capture button on the Bemo Camera, you don't have to hold down the record button to record continuously. - Tap again to stop.
- Tap once to start recording video.

Take time-lapse videos
- From the Camera menu, swipe from right to left. OR Tap Time-Lapse to toggle the time-lapse video mode.
- Tap the Settings menu on the right to select the shot frequency time. You can select 5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds.
- Tap the stopwatch icon to start taking time-lapse videos.
- Tap the stopwatch icon again to stop.

Record remotely — In video mode, you'll see the video-camera icon.
NOTE: Once you turn the camera off, it will return to the default, press and hold to record mode.
Make a movie
You can make movies of video and time-lapse videos inside the Bemo app. With the app you can:
- Trim the clips using the Trim function.
NOTE: Once a clip has been trimmed, it can only be saved as the trimmed clip. You'll lose the parts of the clip that were trimmed away. - Stitch clips and time-lapse videos together by Adding to Reel to make one continuous movie out of several clips, or make a movie out of a single clip.
- Within the movie reel, you can reorder the clips by tapping the three dots on the top right. In the reorder space, tap and hold the three bars and move the clips up and down to your preference. Tap the bar in the red circle to remove a clip.
- Add filters, music, and text to the movie.
- Share directly with social media apps or save to your device.
