Maximum usable distance depends on how the cameras are connected to the network and what kind of local interference is present.
HomePlug AV technology will generally support a house of 8,000 square feet (743 square meters) or more. House wiring has the potential to introduce video signal interference from other electrical appliances in the home. The longer the distance, the higher the chance of signal interruption.
If your cameras are connected to your network using Power over Ethernet (PoE), then you can use a maximum cable length of 100 meters or 325 feet (The Ethernet Standard).
