To install Logitech Media Server software on a Macintosh:

Get the latest version of Logitech Media Server here from the Downloads page.

Once the download completes, open the file and double-click the Logitech Media Server installer icon.

You may see a dialog box warning that this file was downloaded from the Internet and asking if you want to open it. Click Open.

When the installer comes up, click Install.

You may see warnings from your firewall software. Click the appropriate button to allow the installation to proceed. Once the install has finished, the Logitech Media Server preference pane will open.

If you're running MAC OS 10.6 or later, you may see a message saying Logitech Media Server needs to quit and reopen. Click OK.
Next, you'll need to configure Logitech Media Server to find your media and sync to your MySqueezebox.Com account.

In the Logitech Media Server Preference pane, click the Library tab. Here, you can:
- Change your Media folder locations. Your Windows Music, Videos, and Pictures folders will be entered in this field initially.
- Set your Playlist folder location.
- Opt to Use iTunes by clicking the check box next to it. This means Logitech Media Server will create its music database based on your iTunes database.

On the Account tab, you can enter your MySqueezebox.Com credentials. This way, you can access any music service based Apps you've subscribed to from Logitech Media Server. If you don't already have a MySqueezebox.Com account, go to www.mysqueezebox.com/user/signup to create an account.

Close the Preference pane.
NOTE: Squeezebox players only support music streaming. Music, video, and picture content can be accessed by Logitech Revue.
