You can set up the Logitech UE Air Speaker using a computer instead of the dock. There are two ways to do this:
Wireless Air Speaker setup with a computer or WiFi-enabled Apple iOS device
You can set up the Air Speaker wirelessly with a computer or mobile device using AirPlay. Here's how:
-
Turn on the speaker.
-
Press the Wi-Fi Connect button on the back of the speaker. (The LED indicator will blink green.)
-
Find Wi-Fi network settings on your computer or Apple iOS device and select "Logitech UE Air Speaker Setup". It may take up to 30 seconds for this to appear. (For help, see your computer's documentation.)
-
Launch your Internet browser and enter "http://192.168.1.12" in the address bar. A configuration page will display.
-
Follow the on-screen instructions, entering your WiFi network name (SSID) and password when prompted. You'll be given the option to change the Logitech UE Air Speaker's network name.
NOTE: When the Power or System Status indicator turns solid green, the Wi-Fi connection is made.
-
Reconnect your computer or mobile device to your Wi-Fi network.

If you prefer, you can set up the Air Speaker by connecting it to your router with an Ethernet cable. Then, you'll then disconnect the cable and the speaker will play wirelessly.
