Perform the following steps in order to record a macro with the G-series Keyboard Profiler.
NOTE: When recording the macro, two keystrokes will show, representing every key you press on the keyboard. This is because the Profiler registers when the key is pressed and when the key is released separately.

Launch the G-Series Keyboard Profiler.

In the Profiler window, select the Profile that you want to record a macro for from the Current Profile drop down list.

Select Edit->Macro Manager. The Macro Manager dialog box should appear.

Click New

Type in the name for your macro in the Macro column and press Enter

Insure the Record delays between events box is unchecked. If this box is checked, the pauses between the key presses will be also be recorded.

Click Start Recording to begin recording your macro.

Type in your macro. You will see what you are typing appear in the Macro Manager.

Click Stop Recording when you have finished

Click OK to save your macro

Close the Macro Manager dialog box.
