Full functionality of the Driving Force GT requires the developer to have added Driving Force GT specific support into their game. If a game supports earlier Driving Force wheels, then the Driving Force GT will recognize that and function at the level supported by the game.
Some games that fully support the Driving Force GT, like Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, require the system to perform an online update to function. When playing a game with the Driving Force GT, please make sure to connect your console to the internet then start playing the game; if there is an update available, the system will automatically attempt to download and install the update for you.
Consult the Driving Force GT game compatibility list. If the game is listed as supporting the Realtime Adjustment Dial, then the game will also support the PS Button and the Horn button.
