Sometimes your Squeezebox Duet Controller may drop the connection to your wireless network. This usually is recognized by the following symptoms:

Squeezebox Controller wireless signal icon changes color to either:

Blue or Red while connected to network

Wireless icon on Receiver shows all three rings then drops to no rings

Squeezebox Controller display shown only some combination of the following menu selections:

Now Playing
-
Settings
-
Choose Player

If this happens, do the following:

Check the strength of your wireless connection as described in Knowledge Base article 360023385033.

Windows:
-
Right-click on My Network Places
-
Select Properties.
-
Right-click on your wireless connection and select Status.

Verify that your connection is enabled and the signal strength is acceptable (at least three green bars).

Macintosh:
-
Go to the Apple menu and select System Preferences.

Choose Network.
-
Select the Airport connection and check the signal strength.

Move your Controller close to your router to minimize the possibility of interference.

Change the wireless channel (see your router documentation for instructions to change your wireless channel).

Turn off wireless power save mode on the Controller by going to Settings > Advanced > Factory Test > Power Management > Disable Wireless Power Save mode.
