Make sure the batteries are fresh. Low or dead batteries can affect mouse movement.

Clean the sensor with compressed air or a Q-tip:
NOTE: Take care in cleaning the sensor – the Anywhere Mouse MX sensor is sensitive to dust.

Relocate your mouse to a different location or move your mouse closer to the Unifying USB receiver.
